Blending 90% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, it shows layers of plum, black cherry, cassis, cedar, spice and subtle earthy notes. Fine tannins and balanced freshness give the wine a polished, savoury finish. Awarded 90 points by James Suckling, it pairs beautifully with lamb, beef, duck, mushroom dishes or mature cheese.
